GIDE 2019 started off under the theme Mobile Museum and ended with this. VisuaLies, a response to the lack of attendance to museums by the millennial population, with those attending experiencing the exhibitions through their phone screens and cameras. Nowadays so many pictures exist of the museum that there is barely a need to actually visit in person. VisuaLies is a mobile museum which combats this, it is constantly changing and sparking curiosity so that no picture ever taken of it can be better than the experience of actually being there

While working with students from 7 other countries over 3 days, collaborating on a project like this, although exhausting, was so valuable. Learning how other designers go about a project and collaborating all of our skills and knowledge was a challenge, but one that has taught me so much. You have to be confident in your ideas, speak up and have them heard while listening to others. You won’t always agree, but the end outcome will make you all proud.
